Join us for this very special 4 night healing plant medicine retreat. We are honored to welcome maestras Rosenda and Lilia back to Sacha. The maestras are healers from the shipibo-conibo lineage and visiting us from Pucallpa, Peru. They bring with them the teachings they have received through the plants, and will conduct the 2 nighttime ceremonies with their icaros (transmissions or songs of the plants) that will help to cleanse your body, sprit and emotions. We will hold an integration ceremony with cacao and another special teacher on Saturday with Isa.
Maestra Rosenda Melendez Flores was born and raised in the Shipibo village of Santa Isabel de Bahuanisho, Ucayali and comes from a long line of healers in her family. After participating in ceremonies under the guidance of family members in her twenties Maestra Rosenda felt called at the age of 30 to begin her dieta journey into shamanism and become a healer herself. Maestra Rosenda apprenticed under her brother-in-law Maestro Deodomero and after becoming a healer has worked in multiple well-renowned Ayahuasca centers in Iquitos and Pucallpa. Maestra Rosenda is passionate about her ancestral roots in healing, and continues to diet many plants each year to expand her knowledge and healing abilities. With over 20 years’ experience working with the ancestral medicine Ayahuasca, Maestra Rosenda brings a beautiful feminine energy to ceremony, which permeates participants through her magical medicine songs.
Maestra Lilia Kenemea has been studying with the medicine of ayahuasca for 17 years and has completed many plant dietas. Her icaros and voice are a gift of healing, the songs of the plants transmit directly through her as a channel. She lives near Pucallpa and serves groups in the area, also working with Rosenda. She often goes to Cusco to work with groups and has a lot of experience working with different cultures. She has spent time in Europe and Guatemala sharing her knowledge of the plants and guiding participants in sacred ceremony. Her weavings and embroideries reflect the patterns of the medicine and songs that comes through the plants. She and Rosenda both present some very incredible works of art, available for purchase, during the retreat.
Isa Cali has been working with the plant medicines of ayahuasca for 20 years. She has studied under different tribes, namely the kichwa in Ecuador and the Shipibo in Peru. She has been holding retreats and ceremonies through the container of One Light Tribe, which she founded in 2013, opening the door to many to discover their soul’s purpose and heal. She has completed many plant dietas and continues evolve and grow, listening to what is needed, assisting in the awakening of humanity. She opens herself as a channel, bringing in higher frequencies and light codes through her music and sessions. Isa is the owner and designer of Sacha, a private retreat property in San Marcos, where this special retreat will be held. She regularly holds her own offerings there and in the US.
Retreat Details
What is included:
- 2 nighttime ayahuasca ceremonies led by the maestras, accompanied by Isa
- Daytime integration ceremony with cacao and other special teacher ‘plant’
- Accommodations at Sacha, 2 and 4 beds per-room (there is limited private room availability for a couple or if single occupancy there is $240 extra fee).
- All meals, organic, home-cooked and on the plant medicine diet. Meals are vegan with the exception of optional eggs, and we can accommodate any special dietary needs
- Temezcal (sauna) and plant bath on the day before the first ceremony.
- Yoga with Robin and sound healing session with Isa
- Sharing circles to help to integrate the work
- Retreat will begin at 1PM with lunch on Wednesday April 8. Plan to arrive by noon that day to settle in. Retreat ends after brunch and sharing on Sunday April 12, approx. 1PM. Retreat is limited to 15 participants.
Cost does not include: International airfare to Guatemala City, travel insurance, RT taxi or shuttle to the lake from airport (3+ hour trip and we can assist in pairing people coming together), or added night of accommodation at Sacha or elsewhere.
